First, the slaw. Not typically a huge slaw fan but this is legit! 2nd I fly in annually to eat here, er, umm *clears throat* I mean I fly in to go to my family reunion... But eating here at some point over the weekend is a priority. 3rd, the fish & the fresh Tartar Sauce... Don't pass that up either! Excellent food. Ive been to Germany to compare. The Bush makes it better!
A very nice experience. I was lucky to time it just right. Its like stepping back in time. Like a picture museum lots of interesting pictures. I would definitely recommend the food and the staff was really great.
We met some family there yesterday and ordered the codfish sandwiches and tenderloins. Everything was excellent! Service was excellent, atmosphere was clean, comfortable and friendly! Nothing to change about this place. This is a great get together place for great food and a great atmosphere and great service. My wife is a little pickier than I am and she said this is her new go to place in Terre Haute.
Great place for fried fish. Always delicious. Over time I've tried several things on the menu, and have yet to be disappointed. Service is fast and attentive, prices are reasonable . The Bush is a great place for basic American food.

This place is legendary. I can remember my grandma driving all the way across town for the fish (pronounced feesh) sandwich. Glad to see that some things never change. Hadn't been back home for nearly 10 years. The tenderloin and the fish sandwich were still as amazing as ever. Don't pass up on the Bush (pronounced Boosh)!
Not anything fancy, but a nice kind of old fashion Mom and Pop type of family restaurant. Has its own bar separate from dining area. Good food. Friendly service. When I'm back in the Terra Haute area, I definitely will go back.
